Peabody State Bank offers a variety of personal checking accounts to meet a person’s needs. Our most popular account is our Regular Checking account. The Economy Checking account is designed for people who write only a few checks each month and maintain a low balance. We offer a free checking account to full-time students and customers over the age of 55. All checking accounts will receive check images with their statement. The following fee schedule summary will give you a quick comparison of each personal checking account we offer. The MAINTENANCE CHARGES will be assessed whenever your lowest daily balance for the statement period falls below the MINIMUM DAILY BALANCE REQUIRED. If no minimum daily balance is required, the maintenance charges listed will always apply. The PER CHECK MAINTENANCE CHARGE will apply for each debit transaction (cash withdrawal, or check paid) over the stated maximum per statement period. Electronic transactions (ie. ATM withdrawals, ACH debits, POS debits, etc.) will not be counted toward the per check maximum.
*Featured Benefits for Preferred Interest Checking and Preferred Senior Checking.
For a detailed disclosure on any account listed above, please contact us. Our business accounts are designed to accommodate two different levels of transaction activity. The more popular Commercial Checking account has been designed for businesses with a larger quantity of items processed through their account each month. The service charge on the commercial checking account will vary each month depending upon the number of checks written, the number of items deposited, and the balance that is maintained throughout the statement cycle. An earnings credit is also provided to offset the service charge computed. Our Small Business Checking account is designed for businesses with a low volume of transactions each month. A business would qualify for this account if it regularly has less than 50 checks paid and less than 50 items deposited each month. We also offer our Business Interest Checking for businesses operated as a sole proprietorship. This account pays interest each month and requires a minimum balance to be maintained throughout the month to avoid a monthly maintenance charge. All business accounts will receive a monthly statement, which lists each transaction and provides images of items processed through the account. For a detailed disclosure on any account listed above, please contact us. Peabody State Bank offers a no service charge checking account for qualifying non-profit organizations. |
